Korean Glass Like Skin

Hey there!👋👋
Everyone wants crystal clear skin, and I think it is more sufficient to use the term Korean Glass Skin!! In this era, many people think it's really impossible to get a flawless and photo ready skin. Thanks to dirt and pollution for making people believe that it's really hard and will take zillion years to accomplish a beautiful skin.
Today, I'll share you an amazing morning and a evening routine and some hacks to get KOREAN GLASS LIKE SKIN in just 15 days.

The 8-Step Korean Morning Care Routine

1) Wash your face with water.

Washing your face removes dirt, oil, and other unwanted debris. During the day, your skin builds up bacteria, pollutants, viruses, dirt, and dead skin. If you go without washing your face, your skin will continually be covered with dirt and grime, which can lead to blocked pores and blemishes.

2) Apply toner.
Toner removes any last traces of dirt, grime and impurities stuck in your pores after you wash your face. When added to your daily skincare routine and used regularly, it can have major positive impact on the appearance and tightness of your pores.

3) Apply essence.
Essence is more lightweight and less concentrated than serums and serve as an additional layer of hydration. Packed with nutrients, antioxidants and vitamins, essences provide a more targeted treatment depending on your skin concern.

4) Apply ampoule.
However, unlike a daily toner or moisturiser, ampoules aren't mean't to be incorporated into your skincare routine everyday. "Due to their high concentration and active ingredients, ampoules should not be used consistently,"
Josie Holmes, aesthetician at SKINNEY Medspa in New York City, says.

5) Apply serum.
Face serums do what most skincare products can't. They give hydration boost to your skin, reduce blemishes and fight ageing signs, all at once. Serum help give your skin a fresher, younger and healthier appearance.

6) Use an eye cream.

Eye Creams help to nourish the skin, keep it moisturised and prevent dullness. They help fight the puffiness every morning and brighten eyes. They also soften fine lines and make the skin under your eyes look youthful. But you don't have to use a special eye cream. Eye creams often claim to have been formulated 'specially' for the thin, sensitive skin around the eyes.

7) Apply moisturiser.

8) Apply sunscreen.
Korean women are no fools. They know that the sun can harm their skin indoors, pass through clouds, and even reflect off snow and ice in the wintertime. Which is why you can bet those milky complexions don’t come from SPF alone. While the use of sunscreen is an integral part of the K-beauty, so too is the use of protective gear.  Korean women are known to drive around in evening gloves and don full-face covering visors to protect their skin from sun damage.

The 10-Step Korean Nighttime Routine

1) Clean your face with cleansing oil.

We all love stay-on makeup, but, ideally, we’d like to be able to get it off at some point.  Start with an oil cleanser to break down makeup, remove dirt and excess oil.

2) Double cleanse with a gentle cleanser.
Follow it with a foam cleanser that will address your particular skin type, preferably with an added exfoliant, moisturiser, or anti-acne ingredient.

3) Exfoliate your skin.
In the simplest terms, exfoliation is physically or chemically removing those dead and dulling skin cells. Exfoliating helps speed up your skin's process and helps it to behave younger. Physical exfoliators work against the top layers of the skin to remove dead, dulling surface cells via rubbing and sloughing. Most experts advise that you exfoliate two to three times per week — as long as your skin can handle it.

4) Apply toner.
Some face washes and cleansers can be harsh and strip the skin, following with a balancing toner can help soothe your skin while removing any lingering cleanser residue, dirt and/or makeup.

5) Apply essence.
6) Apply ampoule.
7) Apply serum.
8) Apply sheet mask
.
Sheet masking should be kept between 15-25 minutes and should note exceed 30 minutes. Leaving sheet masks on until they dry will actually cause a reversal effect because the sheet will begin to reabsorb the moisture from the skin. Many recommend using it three times a week or once a day for extra care.

**Overnight mask
Nighttime is the time when it all goes down. For your skin that is. While we sleep, our skin cells are busy kicking out the old cells, bringing in the new cells, and recovering from the multitude of skin sins we commit during the day, knowingly or by default. Either way, using a mask during those dark hours of increased cellular activity is the Korean go-to for correcting tired and dull skin overnight.

9) Use an eye cream.
10) Apply moisturiser.

Some people like the “tight” feeling after washing their face, but it’s actually excess dryness, make sure you're helping your skin stay moisturised.

Hacks for Gorgeous Skin

10 Seconds Rule
Koreans apply moisturiser and toner after they leave the shower, before their pores begin to close. The steam in the shower open the pores, allowing them to absorb the product easily, increasing its effectiveness.
Air Dry
Throw your towel and dry your skin in open air! Do you know how much bacteria collects on towels 🔍👀🔍 and even if you wash it, you still have the chemicals from detergents. Think about it! 😱😵

A Facial Massage
Do you want to treat yourself with K-Massage?!! Gently massaging your skin while applying a product (either it’s face wash or cream or whatever) can reduce wrinkles, puffiness, increase blood flow and improve overall skin health.
Let’s get ready for K-Massage session…
👆            Massage from the neck upward toward the chin.
✌            Massage from the lower jaw to the earlobes.
✌👆      Massage from the chin to the earlobes.
✌✌      Massage from the outer corner of the lips to ear.
✋            Massage from the fleshy part of the nose to the temple.
✋👆      Repeat the last four steps going in the opposite direction.
✋✌      Massage area around the nose.
✋✌👆Massage forehead.

Hang Wet Towels
Well hang in here, before going to any conclusions. As we all know hydration is a key to supple skin. In drier months, to prevent dryness in a room, hang your damp towels instead of a humidifier to maintain moisture.
Mouth Exercises
Well, did your teacher taught you vowels in kindergarten?? If yes, then it’ll really help you to get beautiful and tight skin. Recite a,e,i,o and u over-dramatically - it’s a K-beauty ritual.

Use Blurring to Create Photoshop Perfection
Not everyone wakes up looking flawless. Fortunately, there is an ancient Korean blurring trick that will wipe and blur away those undesirable imperfections. Use an air cushion foundation, a Korean signature cosmetic product, to blur like a pro. The formula flexes between ultra-sheer to total coverage with each application, and without ever creating a heavy look.

Apply Essence between Layers of Moisturiser
You know what they say: “Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise.” But, according to K-Beauty wisdom, its, “Moisturise, essence, moisturise.” Many Korean women believe that applying an essence is key for sealing in the nutrients from your daily cleansing.  These mild nutrient-filled skin hydrating solutions are applied after cleansing and before adding the serum. Top off with a moisturiser for maximum skin elasticity.
Use a Charcoal Sheet Mask
In South Korea, the most popular type of sheet masks among K-beauties is charcoal which detoxifies and exfoliates your skin in 10 to 15 minutes.

Exfoliate Using a Washcloth Soaked in Hot Water
Well not everyone can exfoliate their skin like a Pro or should I say Koreans. Getting to harsh with skin will give your skin an adverse impact. I have a bonus tip for you guys: Use a nubby washcloth soaked in hot water to massage your face, using circular upward moving strokes, every day.

Bring Out the Natural Flush of your Lips
Looking for the perfect colour for your lips? Let me see your lips for a sec……. well your lips are really amazing. By enhancing your natural lip colour, not only will you keep your pure pout, but your complexion will appear younger and more vibrant as well. Trust me!

Try a Lip Tint Oil
And if a hint of tint is more your speed, why not try a lip tint oil? These nutrient-rich oils spread like butter onto your lips, adding a sheer pop of colour with zero stickiness. Come for the perfect colour, stay for the even application and a lush finish.

Gradient Lips
Want to look like you’ve just sucked on a cherry lollipop without the possible risk of tooth decay? Gradient lips are meant to give that “just bitten” effect by using a darker colour concentrated in the middle of the lips and fading out along the edges.
To achieve the look, paint on tint within your natural lip line or just dab it on the centre of your lips. Your finger is the best tool for it, so it’s hard to mess it up.

Drink Barley Tea
Think that green tea is the only Asian tea on the block? Word has it that mama’s been feeding baby girl this stuff right as soon as she’s ready for the bottle. Roasted barley tea is served to Korean babies from birth to fortify their skin and overall wellbeing. It’s rich in antioxidants and one study showed that drinking it can boost blood circulation.
They also loves Ginseng Tea.
Ginseng tea is particularly great for refining and rehydrating your skin, regenerates skin cells by increasing oxygenation, improving blood circulation and detoxifying the blood, all of which contribute to healthy, glowing skin.

The Skin Diet
If it’s true that we are what we eat, then by K-beauty standards we should all be kimchi with pepper, garlic, ginger, and scallion. This spicy cabbage is fermented, which means it’s a probiotic full of antioxidants and health benefits.

K-POP Cat Eyes
What makes K-cats so cool is that they follow the natural shape of the eye, just like their natural lip colour.

Glass Skin
“Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?”
In Korea, that would be she with the glassiest skin.
Glass skin refers to the Korean skin goal of achieving luminous, translucent, poreless, (glass-like) skin, sort of like achieving zen for a yogi.
To get the look:
Start with a double cleanse
Apply toner
Layer on essence
Add a plumping serum
Moisturise like it’s going out of style
Apply foundation
Use a highlighting lotion as a finish.

Use your Rice Twice
Korean women have a long history of making their rice do double duty. Rice water is a natural moisturiser that helps to slow ageing, reduce dark circles and spots and brighten skin. If you have kitchen and also have some rice in kitchen, let it soak for 10 – 15 minutes, mix it around and use the milky water as a pseudo toner.
Detox your Privates
Vaginal steams, or chai-yok, is the process of sitting naked on an open stool above a steaming pot of water with medicinal and aromatic herbs, such as mugwort, for 30-45 minutes. The treatment is believed to help with infertility problems and keeping hormones in balance.

Now show it off cause you are party ready!
